How to Price Dropshipping Products (Without Scaring Buyers Off)
October 12, 2026 · 5 min read
Price too low and you work for free. Price too high and nobody buys. The sweet spot is easier to find than you think.
The 2 to 3x rule
A product that costs you $12 should sell between $24 and $36 minimum. Below that, one refund or a small ad spend wipes out your profit.
Anchor with a compare price
Showing $59.99 crossed out next to $29.99 does real work. The crossed out price tells the buyer what it's worth. The real price tells them what a deal they're getting.
Bundles raise the average order
Buy two, save more is the oldest trick in retail because it works. One buyer at $29.99 is fine. One buyer at $49.99 for two is better, and it costs you the same effort.
Don't race to the bottom
Someone will always sell cheaper. You win with a better page, better videos, and faster replies, not by being the cheapest store on the internet.
